This policy applies to everyone working with us, including employees, freelancers, contractors, and any third parties involved in our productions, whether on set, in the office, or at any work-related event. It also covers behaviour online and in any professional setting linked to our work.

  1. Definitions

Bullying: Behaviour that’s intimidating, malicious, offensive, or that undermines, humiliates, or disrespects someone.


Harassment: Any unwanted behaviour linked to a protected characteristic (as outlined in the Equality Act 2010) that impacts someone’s dignity or creates an uncomfortable, hostile, or offensive environment.


Racism: Any form of discrimination, prejudice, or hostility based on race, ethnicity, or cultural background, including microaggressions, stereotyping, and exclusionary actions

  • Treat colleagues with respect and kindness.

  • Encourage a culture that values diversity and actively challenges discrimination.

  • Avoid any behaviour that could be considered bullying, harassment, or racism.

  • Speak up if they witness inappropriate behaviour and report concerns through the right channels.

  • If you experience or witness bullying, harassment, or racism, report it to a senior team member.

  • All reports will be handled sensitively and confidentially, and we promise to investigate fairly and in a timely manner.

  • There will be no backlash or negative consequences for anyone raising concerns in good faith.

  • If misconduct is confirmed, we will take appropriate action, which may include disciplinary measures up to and including dismissal.

  • Senior staff, Heads of Department, and producers will receive training on preventing and addressing bullying, harassment, and racism.

  • We will include inclusion and respect as part of production briefings and in contracts.

Nodge Films will review this policy regularly to make sure it stays relevant, effective, and in line with industry best practices and guidelines.
