THE STORY

Chicken Town is the story of two schoolfriends (Ethaniel Davy and Amelie Davies) who join forces with a green-fingered grandad (Graham Fellows) to fence a shed full of marijuana that the old man has accidentally grown on his allotment.


Laurence Rickard pops up as a conspiracy-theorist mechanic who tries to warn the unlikely trio against taking on the criminal family who control the town. They don’t follow his advice.


This independent British comedy was shot on location in Norfolk and Lincolnshire. It’s directed by Richard Bracewell (who has previously directed Bill, The Gigolos and Cuckoo) from a script co-written by Patrick Dalton (the author of the Shit London toilet books).


Chicken Town will arrive in UK cinemas in Summer 2025.
